Seabirds boat trips in the south of Malta

Seabird boat trips

like the past years, we are organizing these trips to discover the seabirds around the south part of Malta
On the 28th of August, starting from Marsaskala we will take you offshore in the area close to the fish farms where hundreds of Black Terns congregate in Autumn and End of August.

September is also peak time for other species of birds carrying out their autumn migration south to Africa, so with some luck, we might see other exciting birds. In addition to these migratory species, we should be able to see the locally nesting Scopoli’s Shearwaters and European Storm-Petrels
There will be three boat trips that will last around 3 hours each. The activity is open to anyone who is eager to explore the marine environment, both new and experienced birdwatchers and nature photographers.

we will have 3 trips for 6 persons each in order to be more comfortable on board

we will use a rib 7.2 meter long

Trip 1 : start at 8.00 back at 11:00

Trip 2: start at 12:00 back at 15:00

Trip 3: start at 16:00 back at 19:00

Price 35Euro per person/ 30Euro for BirdLife members

Cancellation for bad weather or any unforeseen conditions will be full refunded.
